It's one of my favorite go-to spots for ramen in Santa Monica. I usually chose the Shoyu on Fire. During menu selection you can select up to three levels of heat. I chose medium which is the second level of heat. Even then my eyes still watered a bit. For the price you get a big bowl of ramen well worth the value

I visited so many Silverlake Ramen locations now. This is my first time actually going into the Santa Monica location. I went with my buddy this afternoon and we ordered a lot of different dishes. - We had the Classic Ramen. - The Blaze Ramen, which is a spicier version. - We also ordered the Truffle Ramen and that was amazing. It was rich in flavor. They use thick noodles for that one. - We had the crispy tuna rice and that reminded me of the Katsuya days. - I also ordered a little salad and we got the Saboru bowl because my wife and kids love it. - I also ordered the Chicken Karaage and that was nice and crispy and juicy on the inside. There was a nice ambiance inside, with high ceilings, and the staff was super friendly. The chef came out to greet us. I really enjoyed my experience as I always do at Silverlake Ramen.

I have been eating ramen for about 10+ years and I gotta say SilverLake is authentic and delicious! Not all ramen places make Tonkotsu and/or know how to make it very creamy at the perfect point. I can tell SL Ramen takes good care of their process, the noodles themselves were good as well. The fried chicken is great and everything was freshly made! SilverLake Ramen is definitely #2 in my list. Must try!

Stopped by Silverlake Ramen and overall had a great experience. The service was a bit slow, especially during peak time, but the food made up for it. The truffled ramen was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—not overpowering, just creamy and comforting. You can really taste the quality of the broth and toppings. The bao buns were also excellent: soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor. They made a great starter and paired nicely with the ramen. Even with the wait, the food was worth it. If you’re not in a rush and want a solid bowl of ramen near the pier, this is a great spot.

I appreciate that they staple the bag to ensure it stays sealed. The best part is that their prices are more affordable than other ramen spots nearby.
